Much of the sketching and ideation process revolved around panel reduction. In initial passes, the first page was overcrowded, making it difficult for panels to flow uninterrupted.

Tests were also done regarding Higgs's ability to teleport. Visual FX and and the panels themselves were used to portray this. Depth between Sam and Higgs was also used to show teleportation, using Sam as a positional ground for the reader.
